Learning and Development Programme modules
The mandatory PSO learning and development programme supports the Probation Qualification Awards and is based on appendix 3.2.6 of the Regulatory Framework. It provides a comprehensive and stimulating programme, linked to the Vocational Qualification level 3 (VQ3). The programme includes workshops and workbooks.
The learning and development programme consists of 20 modules (PDF – 92k). 18 are face to face days training days, with workbook and resource books to support learning and VQ 3 knowledge evidence. In addition workbooks are provided for two modules, Orientation to the Criminal Justice Sector and Legal Framework.

Individual module attendance is available for staff that require a refresher in a particular module or who have not previously attended particular modules.
