- We are the second largest Probation Area in England and Wales, with over 1,500 staff.
- We cover the areas of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
- At any one time we are supervising 10,000 adult offenders in the community.
- We have an Area Victim Unit with offices in Coventry, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
- Our rehabilitation programmes are proven to be effective in turning convicted offenders away from crime, and we have piloted programmes designed specifically to tackle issues that particularly affect women offenders and Black minority ethnic offenders.
- Over 500,000 hours of unpaid work are completed annually by offenders in the West Midlands.
 West Midlands have gained the Positive about Disability award.
