The Midlands Consortium is one of nine such Consortia across England and Wales which works to deliver a range of probation training.

The Midlands Consortium is an association between the nine probation areas in the midlands.

Many of the probation areas have achieved Investors in People status and the Positive about disability award. Some have achieved Charter Mark status.
