We recruit and train the best people possible to become qualified Probation Officers/ Offender Managers.

We support in-service training for all grades of the probation areas' staff, to develop their working practice. We offer a wide range of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).

Work with people who have committed different types of offences such as burglary, violence, car crime and sex offences.
Provide probation supervision, unpaid work, offender behaviour programmes and specialist support services which can stop people committing further offences.
Prepare prisoners for release, and supervise them on licence afterwards
Liaise with victims of serious crime.
